1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website installs on a user's browser or device when it is visited. Among other things, they allow the site to recognize the user on later visits, remember preferences, and gather statistical information about how the site is used. This policy applies to the website lrbuenavida.com, owned by Aromas y Sabores Buenas Vida S.A.S (Tax ID/NIT 900.063.450-6, Bogotá D.C., Colombia), hereinafter "Buena Vida".

2. Types of cookies we use

• Technical or necessary cookies: essential for the Site's basic operation (browsing, contact and quote-request forms, cookie-consent management). These do not require prior consent, as they are strictly necessary.
• Analytics cookies: allow us to measure and analyze user browsing on the Site (pages visited, time spent, traffic source) in order to improve content and the user experience. These are only activated with the user's consent.
• Third-party cookies: some Site features (for example, maps, social media, or messaging tools such as WhatsApp) may involve cookies managed by external providers, subject to their own privacy policies.

3. Purpose of processing

The cookies used by Buena Vida are intended to ensure the Site works correctly, to understand how institutional users (hotels, restaurants, airlines, businesses, and catering) interact with its content, and to continuously improve the information and the contact and quote-request channels offered.

4. Legal basis and consent

The processing of data associated with non-technical cookies is carried out with the user's prior, express, and informed consent, in accordance with Law 1581 of 2012 and Decree 1377 of 2013. The user may grant, refuse, or withdraw consent at any time through the Site's cookie-settings panel or through their browser settings.
